Health Care Industry Adds Jobs

The Wall Street Journal's Health Blog posted an article on February 2009 employment figures. There is a loss of 651,000 jobs in February (2.6 million in the past 4 months) but health care added a small but respectable 27,000 jobs in February. The article can be found at:

However, as well all know, all is not rosy and there are cutbacks at hospitals, physicians' offices and other providers. In that vein, see an article from the same WSJ blog entitled "How A Hospital Braces For A $20 million Operating Loss" http://blogs.wsj.com/health/2009/03/06/how-a-hospital-braces-for-20-million-operating-loss/
