Medical Board, Chiro Board And Other Boards Will Be Closed 2 Fridays Per Month - Effects Of 2009 Budget Cuts



The 2009 California budget crisis is deeply affecting the Medical Board and other professional boards. Pursuant to the Governor's Executive Order S-16-08, beginning in February 2009, all offices of the Medical Board, the Board of Chiropractic Examiners, the Board of Registered Nursing, the Board of Vocational Nursing & Psychiatric Technicians, the Physician Assistant Committee and other boards and committees will be closed the first and third Friday of each month until further notice. There will be other cuts in these boards and committees as the State of California is truly in a budget crisis.
